Limerick Participate! part of Reimagining Limerick 17th October 6-8 PM

Limerick Integration Working Group is hosting a series of events the week of 17th – 23rd October 2016 to mark Intercultural Week.

The theme of the week is ‘Reimagining Limerick: Connecting Communities‘.

Nasc, along with co-hosts the Immigrant Council of Ireland, will be holding a Participate! stall during the opening ceremonies in Limerick City Hall on Monday 17th October 2016 from 6-8 PM.

Participate! is a collaborative project to promote greater participation and integration of migrant communities in Ireland.  As part of the Participate! project, Nasc and the Immigrant Council of Ireland will be working with migrant and community groups throughout the country to host events and stalls designed to provide information about aspects of political and civic participation, including:

  • Applying for citizenship
  • Registering to vote
  • Volunteering
  • Becoming active citizens
  • Getting involved in community activities
  • And more!
