‘What’s Food Got To Do With It? Food Experiences of Asylum Seekers in Direct Provision is based on a qualitative research study that was undertaken with the aim of gaining greater understanding of the lived reality and food experience of asylum seekers living in direct provision centres in Cork. Several recommendations for the improvement of food conditions are included in the report. The research was conducted by Keelin Barry as part of a Masters in Public Health at University College Cork with the support of Nasc.
