Nasc is launching a new ‘Gateway to Employment’ project for refugee women

The course is open to all women with refugee status, subsidiary protection or leave to remain, or any female family member of an individual with one of the above statuses.

The project aims to equip women with practical skills, knowledge, and a greater awareness and experience of multicultural competencies, to enable them to integrate more fully into Irish society.

The practical elements of the course will include: intensive English language training; mentoring and personal development supports; field trips to educational institutions, workplaces, and job fairs. A work placement element and volunteering opportunities will also be made available, if applicable.

Childcare and transport will be provided.

If you or someone you know is interested in participating in this course, or if you would like to find out more information, please contact Emily at: or by phone at 021 450 3462.

This project was approved by Government with support from the Dormant Accounts Fund.
