PQ: Emigration Data (Net Migration)
161. Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Taoiseach the numbers of persons that have emigrated from Ireland since he took office in 2011.
Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Deputy Paul Kehoe): Annual information on migration is published in the Population and Migration Estimates release which issues in August each year.
The table below provides the most recent estimates of the number of immigrants and emigrants, by nationality, for the period ending mid April for the years 2012 and 2013. The figures are preliminary and are subject to revision.
