I Was Here – World Humanitarian Day 2012
Today, Sunday August 19 is World Humanitarian Day. This year’s campaign “I Was Here” is about making your mark by doing something good, somewhere, for someone else.
The day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly to coincide with the anniversary of the 2003 bombing of the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq, which killed 22 UN staff.
