Take Action to support #SafePassage

Take Action to Support #SafePassage to reunite families fleeing conflict

Nasc’s Safe Passage Campaign is calling on the Irish Government to introduce a humanitarian admission programme to allow Irish residents, naturalised citizens and refugees to apply for family reunification for extended family members in conflict zones.

There are many ways you can Take Action to support this campaign and help reunite families fleeing conflict.

What Can I Do?

  1. Contact your local TDs and your senators. Visit your local politicians and bring them a leaflet. Write a personal letter.  Or you can use our Template Letter, which will send an email to all of the TDs and Senators in your constituency.
  2. Sign the Petition. We are calling on the Tanáiste and Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald to introduce humanitarian admission for families trying to flee conflict.
  3. Volunteer to support the campaign.  You can sign up here to be included in our Volunteer Committee.
  4. Share on Social Media. Share Nasc’s #SafePassage posts on your own social media.  Take a photo of yourself and your family and friends with a handwritten message ‘I support #SafePassage’.
