We are recruiting for a Volunteer to support the Nasc Finance Officer – Part Time 2 days per week
Nasc, the Irish Immigrant Support Centre is an independent human rights organisation based in Cork that works to secure access to justice and services for migrants and ethnic minorities in Ireland. We work to ensure a just, inclusive and integrated society.
We are currently recruiting for a volunteer who will assist our Finance Officer in operation and control of the financial and administrative function in Nasc and to assist in the day to day administration of the work of the organisation. This position would ideally suit a someone who has, or is studying for, a financial qualification and is seeking to gain practical experience in the not for profit sector. The successful applicant will gain skills and experience in the following areas:
- Financial management and reporting skills.
- Experience in financial reporting across a number of funding and income sources
- Experience in the preparation of budgets and management accounts
- General administration experience
This is an unpaid position – a small stipend to cover expenses is payable.
