Governance/Nasc’s Board

The Nasc Board develops and monitors the execution of the organisation’s strategy, as approved by its Membership, as well as providing ongoing support to Nasc management in relation to strategy implementation

Director

The overarching role of Nasc’s Director is to oversee the day to day execution of Nasc’s strategy as articulated in a business plan and approved by the Membership.  The Director is accountable to the Board in relation to execution against the strategy and the operations of the organisation

Membership

The role of members:

  • Members can attend Nasc’s AGMs and EGMs.
  • Members will need to have been a member of Nasc for at least three months before they can vote at AGMs / EGMs.
  • Members will continue to elect the members of the new Board.
  • Members will approve the strategy and direction of Nasc through regular business plan cycles.
  • Members will continue to participate in and drive the direction of Nasc’s sub-groups.  If, from time to time, Membership wishes to create a new sub-group in response to a particular need, the formation of this new group must be approved by the Board.
  • You can join Nasc by filling out a membership application form which includes signing an agreement to adhere to Nasc’s core values and equality policy.
Staff

Nasc’s staff are responsible to the Director and their role is to carry out the work of the organisation under the three pillars:
