Reception an Integration Agency - Department of Justice In 2007 Nasc was awarded funding by the the Office of the Minister for Integration and administered by Pobal, as part of its Fund for the Integration of Legally Resident Immigrants, to enable a new Employment, Education and Enterprise Project.

Funder: Pobal This project is focused on developing a coordinated strategy, based on the needs of migrants in Cork, around the key issues relating to the integration of Cork's new communities: employment, enterprise development and education / training. We have formed two consultation committees which include both migrants, employers, service providers and other key stakeholders in Cork City.

The project involved engaging with key service providers and employers in order to address the specific needs of migrants, strategy development, developing and publishing brochures targeted at migrants in Cork, and researching relevant issues.

In 2008 Nasc officially launched our Strategy for Cork in relation to Migrant Employment, Education and Enterprise book entitled “Integrating the Future” and our “Information Guide for Migrants in Cork”. Read more in our EEE Strategy and Information Booklet launch page.
