Past activities

Trips

Nasc’s women’s group have always enjoyed taking trips outside of Cork with their family and friends. 

We have visited Fota Wildlife Park, been on beach parties and family days, have had a Summer camp at Fitzgeralds Park and have been to Youghal, Cobh and Kerry.  We usually have a trip to see Santa for Christmas.  We’ve also visited Leahy’s Pet Farm.

Training

We have also run courses on:

• Training for Transformation
• Child development
• Personal development
• Gender issues

Talks

The group often have outside speakers to talk to the group on issues which interest us.  Recently we have had talks on the Asylum legal system, domestic violence, childcare and Female Genital Mutilation.
