What You Can Do

Invest in our Future

Nasc relies on the generosity of people like you to protect human rights. We welcome all investments and offers of fundraising. Recently, we have been hit hard by funding cuts. Your help is vital for us to continue to support and advocate for immigrants in Ireland. Click on the image to the left below to set up a monthly payment or on the right-hand image to make a one-off donation to help support our work.

Join our fundraising initiatives or come up with some of your own. Check out our iDonate page here. At Nasc, we do everything to ensure that supporting us is easy.  Whatever you are interested in, we want to know about it.

It’s not what you do – it’s why you do it. Get involved and help support our work!

In the meantime, you can follow us on Twitter or tell us about your fundraising activities and ideas on our Facebook wall. Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@nascireland.org for assistance in organising an event or for some creative fundraising ideas.

Running for Nasc!

One of the ways our supporters have been fundraising is by taking part in charity runs. We are already a registered charity with the Cork City Marathon and the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin.  Additionally we can register with whichever marathon (or any sporting event) around the country that you want to enter.  Email info@nascireland.org for information on how to get involved.

Campaign for Change

If you feel strongly about any of the campaigning areas in which we are working to influence policy change, and would like to contribute to a campaign, we would very much welcome your support.

Maybe you would like write an article, make a short video, or visit your local TDs to encourage them to support the campaign?

If you are part of a campaigning or community group, maybe you would like the group to be involved and to take an action? If you have an idea you’d like to talk to us about, or want to learn more about any of our campaign areas, please contact info@nascireland.org. Unfortunately we cannot always respond to every query, but we will do our best to get back to you.

Nasc relies on volunteers to help our organisation function, and we are very grateful for all of the people who have generously contributed their time to helping Nasc.  We work very hard to ensure that Nasc’s volunteer internship programmes are a positive and rewarding experience for interns, and past volunteers have gone on to gain employment in a variety of prestigious organisations and companies.

We recruit volunteer interns for the Legal Service and for our Campaigns and Communications team every 6-9 months.  When an opening arises, details for these internships are made available below, as well as in the ‘Latest News’ section of our website, our Social Media sites, and on Activelink, so please check these sites regularly for any opportunities.

Although we do not generally take on additional volunteers, you are welcome to send your CV and details of your interests and availability to info@nascireland.org, and a member of Nasc staff will get back to you if we currently have any openings.
