What You Can Do

Invest in our Future

Nasc does not receive any government funding, and relies on the generosity of people like you to protect human rights. We welcome all investments and offers of fundraising. Recently, we have been hit hard by funding cuts. Your help is vital for us to continue to support and advocate for immigrants in Ireland. Click on the image to the left below to set up a monthly payment or on the right-hand image to make a one-off donation to help support our work.

Fundraise

Join our fundraising initiatives or come up with some of your own. At Nasc, we do everything to ensure that supporting us is easy.  Whatever you are interested in, we want to know about it.

It’s not what you do – it’s why you do it. Get involved and help support our work!

In the meantime, you can follow us on Twitter or tell us about your fundraising activities and ideas on our Facebook wall. Please do not hesitate to contact our Development Officer, Marguerite McQuaid for assistance in organising an event or for some creative fundraising ideas.

Running for Nasc!

One of the ways our supporters have been fundraising is by taking part in marathons. We are already a registered charity with the Cork City Marathon and the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin.  Additionally we can register with whichever marathon (or any sporting event) around the country that you want to enter.

This year, the Cork City Marathon will take place on Monday, 3rd June 2013. You can walk, run or skip a full or half Marathon, or even take part as a relay team! Email marguerite@nascireland.org for information on how to get involved. This year we’re running against racism. Click here for more info!

Campaign for Change

If you feel strongly about any of the policy areas in which we are working to influence policy change, and would like to contribute to a campaign, we would very much welcome your support.

Maybe you would like write an article, make a short video, or visit your local TDs to encourage them to support the campaign?

If you are part of a campaigning or community group, maybe you would like the group to be involved and to take an action? If you have an idea you’d like to talk to us about, or want to learn more about any of our campaign areas, we would be very happy to meet with you or your group. Please contact jennifer@nascireland.org.
